  • 46 will graduate High School
  • 26 will enroll in college
  • 8 will earn a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 will earn a graduate or professional degree, and
  • 0.2 will earn a doctorate

High School Students

High School students – You can Join HCP’s Facebook today, and possibly start an HCP Student group at your High School.  All High School Students are welcome.

  • Involving more Hispanic Americans in public policy?
  • Working with other students in your High School interested in all of the above?

HCP High School Students and Student Groups Can:
  • Organize – on campus, seek official recognition by your High School to use campus facilities, apply for student funding and recruit in official capacity, if your High School allows. High School officials must be contacted, consulted and must approve any effort.
  • Join – HCP’s Facebook online community of students around the U.S.
  • Plan – Assist in planning and organizing HCP Regional Forums, an event where Hispanics from throughout your region gain education on US culture and policy, training on how to ask questions and give opinions on policy, forums for discussion on current legislation and a fair to shop for services such as immigration, banking, home ownership, taxes, education scholarships, health care, etc.
  • Create – Start an official HCP website or blog for your HCP High School group in which you can help research, monitor, analyze and write about local, regional and state policy of interest to Hispanics that may also be linked to HCP’s website for Hispanics everywhere to follow (if approved by High School officials).

Important Notice:
To start an HCP Student group or to work with HCP in a research, writing, organizing or leadership role, or in any capacity, first gain permission from your parents and your High School principal.  HCP requires written parental and school approval for any High School Student to participate.
